Pensacola motorcyclist critically injured in crash with Ford truck

A Pensacola motorcyclist suffered critical injuries in a crash with a Ford truck Tuesday evening at W Street and Airport Boulevard, according to a Florida Highway Patrol Report.

Shaun Boles, 34, of Pensacola, was traveling northbound on W Street in a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle shortly before 5:30 p.m. Witnesses Boles was traveling at a very high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic as he approached the Airport Boulevard intersection.

A Ford F150, driven by 60-year-old Daryl Hodges of Gulf Breeze, was traveling southbound in the left turning lane on W Street approaching the intersection. Hodges turned left at the intersection and collided with the Suzuki.

Boles was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital with critical injuries. Hodges was uninjured.

Charges are pending investigation.
